D-Block & S-Te-Fan
Heading up the techy end of Dutch hard dance, D-Block & S-te-Fan kicked off 2011 in style, selling out the HMH stadium in Amsterdam as a prelude to their world tour, followed by a “full-o...

What's the future of DJing? DJing will be even more interactive than it is right now, with all kinds of new technologies
Favourite app? WhatsApp and Wordfeud. WhatsApp is easy to use while touring and Wordfeud kills those moments of waiting.
Discovery of the year? Our 'Milan Toast' toaster in the studio. Awesome for those moments you need extra input
Rediscovery of the year? The Hose 'The Pressure'. We loved this record since we first heard it in 2007
Awkward Moment? Someone threw beer on the wiring in our DJ set-up, causing three complete shutdowns.
Style or substance? Definitely substance. When a song hits the right spots, it doesn't matter what kind of style it has.
Pet Hate? Besides a system crash in the studio, there is not much that gets us out of focus
“Besides the shows, we had our most productive year in the studio, we made 25 songs,” D-Block says.

We are always in the studio and sometimes it works out better than the day or year before. The track which gave us a lot of online exposure this year was 'The Magical Mystery', featuring MC Villain.”
2012 will simply see the duo continuing their hard work, both in the studio and on the road.
“We will make as much new music as possible and keep our shows fresh and exciting.” Who could ask for more?
